The SpaceX Group, Elon Musk's space division, has acquired a Boeing 154-737, the N800TS. It is a 21,6 year old used aircraft.

According to CH-Aviation.com, this was purchased in August 2024 via the group's own Falcon Aviation Holdings. Until mid-December 2023, this Boeing 737-800, which was previously in commercial flight service with Air China, was stored in Lake Charles Chennault.

SpaceX does not provide any information as to whether the machine will be used as an internal passenger aircraft or as a test aircraft for the group's space products. The exact intended use of this Boeing 737-800 is therefore unclear.
