Stuttgart Airport is preparing for a busy start to the Easter holidays. During the two-week travel period around Easter, up to 500.000 arriving and departing passengers are expected at Stuttgart Airport. Airport management strongly advises travelers to allow sufficient time for check-in procedures to ensure a stress-free start to their vacation.

To minimize waiting times at security checkpoints, the airport recommends using the so-called Smart Lane. Passengers can reserve a time slot for the security check free of charge via the airport website. Passengers should generally arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure. The airport also recommends using online check-in and the self-bag drop counters offered by various airlines to expedite the check-in process.

Travelers arriving at the airport with their own car can reserve a parking space online in advance to facilitate the search for a parking space on site. To ensure a smooth passage through security, it is advisable to familiarize yourself with the hand luggage regulations in advance and prepare your luggage accordingly. Information on this is available on the airport website and from the respective airlines. For those interested in flying and day-trippers, the SkyLand Visitor Center in Terminal 3 offers an exhibition on the topic of flying, while the visitors' terrace offers a free view of flight operations. The Wolke 7 bistro on the terrace offers refreshments.
