United not only has the most extensive North Atlantic route network among US airlines. It will continue to be the only airline offering direct flights from the USA to Dubrovnik, Malaga, Mallorca and Tenerife. All United flights for summer 2024 can now be booked.

Starting May 24, 2024, United will be the first and only airline to connect the United States with Faro, Portugal. The flights from/to New York/Newark are operated four times a week with a Boeing 757-200.

One day earlier, on May 23, 2024, United will resume seasonal flight operations between the Icelandic capital Reykjavik and New York/Newark (Boeing 757-200). The airline is also expanding its existing offering to some popular destinations in Europe. This includes a second daily service between New York/Newark and Brussels starting March 30, 2024 and a second service between Washington/Dulles and Rome starting May 23, 2024. In addition, United will fly daily with a Boeing 2 starting May 2024, 757 -200 from New York/Newark to Malaga.

In addition, United is responding to the continued increase in demand for flights in the spring, after this year the offer from the beginning of March to the end of May grew by 33 percent compared to the previous year. In 2024, popular seasonal routes will therefore resume much earlier. This includes:

  • From February 15, 2024, flights between Washington/Dulles and Lisbon, Barcelona and Rome
  • From March 30, 2024, flights between New York/Newark and Nice, between Chicago/O'Hare and Rome and between Chicago O'Hare and Milan
  • from April 5, 2024, flights between New York/Newark and Naples
  • From May 2, 2024, flights between New York/Newark and Malaga and between San Francisco and Rome

United Airlines is also expanding its network in other regions: the number of non-stop flights across the Pacific increases by more than 30 percent in the summer schedule, and by 10 percent to Latin America.
