SunExpress returns to Memmingen Airport with direct flights to Antalya

The airline SunExpress will resume a direct connection from Memmingen Airport to Antalya, Turkey, starting in March 2026. The route was last served in 2022.

The flights will be offered five times a week, and even daily between May 11 and June 24, 2026. The flight time will be approximately three hours and 30 minutes. According to airport authorized representative Marcel Schütz, the connection complements the airport's offerings in the Mediterranean region.

SunExpress, a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, sees itself as the market leader for flights from Germany to the Turkish Riviera. The new route is intended to provide travelers from southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with a direct connection to the holiday region.

The Antalya region, with towns like Kemer and Belek, is especially popular with families. History buffs and vacationers will find ancient sites like Aspendos and the old town of Kaleiçi in the region.
