Swan Hellenic reschedules expeditions

Advertising

The shipping company Swan Hellenic will not carry out the planned expedition to the Russian Arctic. The company modified the timetable and is now heading for Iceland and Greenland.

The SH Minerva, which has a capacity for 152 passengers, is used. According to the operator, the crew consists of 120 crew members. The ship will now embark on an alternative expedition towards Scotland, Ireland, Iceland and Greenland.

The future sister ship SH Vega is scheduled to leave the shipyard in Finland in September 2020. Test and approval drives are then carried out. It is currently assumed that this will set sail together with the SH Minerva in the direction of Antarctica in the winter of 2022/23.
