Swiss has extended the suspension of its flights to and from Tel Aviv and Beirut until August 13. Due to security concerns, the airspace over Iran, Iraq and Israel will also be avoided until this date. This measure comes after intensive review of the current situation in the Middle East.

The airline regrets the inconvenience for the passengers affected, but stresses that the safety of passengers and crew is its top priority. Affected passengers will be contacted directly and can either rebook for a later travel date free of charge or receive a full refund of the ticket price. Swiss continues to monitor the situation closely and is in constant contact with the relevant authorities in Switzerland and on site.
