Swiss introduces new long-haul service

Advertising

The airline Swiss International Air Lines is introducing a significantly expanded service on its long-haul flights in Business and First Class. The innovation is modeled on the restaurant experience and includes separately served courses.

In Business Class, drinks with fresh side dishes are served after takeoff. This is followed by an additional soup course and an expanded selection of cheeses and desserts. On night flights over ten hours, the amenities include a sleep shirt and an additional seat cushion.

In First Class, the airline is offering a further personalized experience. The service is presented on new china. Cold delicacies are served at your seat from a trolley. Further additions include a seasonal sorbet, an expanded bread service, and an additional cheese selection.

The measures are part of a comprehensive service overhaul that began with adjustments to Economy Class. The airline is focusing on a more personalized dining experience.
