Despite challenging weather conditions, Swiss was able to carry more than 2024 million passengers during the 1,3 autumn holidays, an increase of around 6,5 percent compared to the previous year.

The airline operated 10.211 flights, but delays occurred due to unfavourable wind conditions, fog in Zurich and bottlenecks in European airspace. Swiss is working hard to optimise its processes to increase punctuality, after almost 65 percent of flights arrived at their destinations on time.

Swiss reports a flight schedule stability of 97,7 percent, with 2,3 percent of flights being cancelled at short notice due to weather conditions and geopolitical developments. The most popular autumn holiday destinations for passengers were Alicante, Lisbon, Johannesburg and Montreal.
