The Lufthansa subsidiary Brussels Airlines is facing a strike from December 1st to December 3rd, 2023. The unions that represent flight attendants are calling for this. Things are also brewing among the pilots, as their representatives are announcing work stoppages around Christmas.

At the heart of the dispute is that employees are demanding better working conditions and higher salaries. Trade unionists explain, among other things, that Brussels Airlines would start making profits again, but that employees would continue to receive reduced wages. No agreement has yet been reached in the previous rounds of negotiations.
