Planes are always overbooked and one or two of those affected have probably thought of sitting on the toilet so that they can still fly. A man involuntarily had to spend time in the “quiet place” on a domestic flight in India.

Shortly after the takeoff of Spiecejet flight SG-268, operated by the Boeing 737-800, which has the registration VT-SGV, the passenger had to go to the toilet. He waited for the fasting Seatbelt signal to turn off and then went into a washroom to do his “business”. So far everything is completely normal and everyday. But what happened next was more like a bad horror film, because when the man tried to open the door again, it simply wouldn't open. She was stuck.

After a few attempts, the passenger in the predicament pressed the emergency button to alert the flight attendants. They were there quickly, but they couldn't help because the stubborn toilet door couldn't be opened from the outside. A note was written under the door for the traveler with a reassuring message for the traveler. He was asked to remain calm because they would be landing soon anyway and a technician would take care of his rescue immediately afterwards. That's exactly what happened.

It is unclear why the washroom door of the Boeing 737-800, which was en route from Mumbai to Bengaluru on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, got stuck and could not be opened from the inside or outside. In any case, after landing at the destination, the man was freed from his unpleasant situation by technicians.
