Tui and Ryanair enter into a sales partnership

The low-cost airline Ryanair and the travel group Tui have announced a sales partnership. This enables the tour operator to integrate low-cost flights into package tours.

“Tui is now entitled to offer its customers Ryanair flights, seats and luggage as part of their holiday packages, provided they do not charge inflated prices for Ryanair products. The agreement also guarantees Tui customers that their correct contact and payment information will be shared with Ryanair, allowing them to have direct access to their myRyanair account and receive important flight information directly by email,” Ryanair said.

This is the third agreement of its kind. Ryanair has previously signed official distribution agreements with Weloveholidays and Kiwi. The carrier has been taking action against so-called OTAs that sell the carrier's tickets without a distribution agreement for many years. They are accused of charging significant surcharges, for example on checked baggage.
