Verdi demands more pay for Lufthansa ground staff

The Verdi union is demanding 12,5 percent more wages per month for Lufthansa's ground staff. The salary should increase by at least 500 euros per month.

The employee representatives also want there to be shift bonuses of 3,6 percent of the basic salary in the future. Furthermore, due to high inflation, one-off bonuses of 3.000 euros should be paid out. Negotiations on the new collective agreement are scheduled to begin on January 18, 2024.
