Verdi strike: Hamburg is closing again on Thursday

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hamburg Airport will once again be unable to process departures on March 14, 2024 due to a security staff strike organized by the Verdi union.

As on February 1st and March 7th, 2024, security employees have been called on to stop work for the entire day. For this reason, all 141 departures on Thursday will be canceled or will take place without passengers. Flight cancellations and delays are also to be expected when it comes to arrivals. It can be assumed that the after-effects of the strike will also be felt the following day - and thus at the start of the holidays in Hamburg. Affected passengers are asked to contact their airline or tour operator.
