Verdi strike: There were no departures in Stuttgart

Due to the security staff strike called by the Verdi union at a total of eleven German airports on February 1, 2024, Stuttgart Airport had to completely stop processing departing passengers.

The airport announced in advance that there would be no departures on February 1, 2024. Many arrivals were also affected by this, because most carriers decided not to fly with passengers to Stuttgart and then returned empty.
