Vienna Airport recorded the second best passenger result in the history of the Austrian airport. The airport in the Austrian capital was able to handle 29,5 million passengers.

Vienna Airport achieved the second best passenger result in 2023. Specifically, the Austrian airport was able to achieve a passenger volume of 29,5 million passengers. Compared to the previous year, this corresponds to an increase of 24,7 percent.

Despite these high passenger numbers, Vienna Airport was able to record another success. The airport is one of Lufthansa's most punctual hubs. Even in a continental comparison, the Austrian airport does not have to hide when it comes to punctuality, as the result shows. Vienna Airport ranks third in Europe.

The forecast for the current year 2024 also looks promising: Vienna Airport expects 30 million passengers at its Vienna location, and the Vienna Airport Group expects 39 million passengers.
