The Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce's Wifi is expanding its educational offerings with the “AirportCity Academy powered by Wifi NÖ” and is starting with a new location in the modern Office Park 4 directly at Vienna Airport. “The 'AirportCity Academy' was launched in close cooperation with Vienna Airport in order to provide regional growth with the best educational opportunities at the pulse of the economy.

With 250 companies in the Vienna AirportCity and their over 23.000 employees, the need for attractive training and further education offers is enormous," says the President of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce, Wolfgang Ecker, emphasizing the importance of the new offer and emphasizes: "Our WiFi connects here a modern and innovative learning environment with high-quality training content, trainers with practical experience and a tailor-made educational offer for companies in the region.” The pilot phase with the already proven WiFi NÖ further education program at Vienna Airport has already started.

“AirportCity, with a total of around 23.000 employees, needs many well-trained specialists. In the future, the more than 250 companies at Vienna Airport will benefit from a training facility for their employees in the immediate vicinity with the AirportCity Academy. There is great interest because AirportCity is growing rapidly: 2023 was also a record year for company settlements - 20 new companies brought more than 700 additional employees to the location. 2024 also promises to be very good: the newly built Helios logistics center will start operations in September, construction of the new hotel will begin shortly and many new tenants have been won," says Günther Ofner, CEO of Flughafen Wien AG.
