Weeze Airport is expecting around 100.000 passengers during the current autumn holidays in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Around 554 flights are expected, significantly more than in the same period last year.

At that time there were 380 flights and 60.000 passengers during the holidays. And the pre-Corona year 2019 has also been significantly exceeded, when Weeze Airport had almost 67.000 passengers. 30 destinations are flown to during the autumn holidays.

“Passenger growth will receive another significant boost during the autumn holidays – our airport is still on the rise. The airport teams are ready for the holiday weeks. There are no long waiting times to be expected in Weeze – neither at the start of the holiday nor at the baggage carousel when returning,” says Sebastian Papst, Managing Director at Weeze Airport.
