London itself is one of the largest and most diverse cities in Europe and attracts millions of visitors every year. The city offers a rich mix of history, culture, and modern urban life, with well-known landmarks such as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and Big Ben. Anastasia Novak , Communications Manager at Wizz Air, commented on the new connection: “We are delighted to expand our offering from Vienna to include another fantastic destination: London Luton. London is one of the most exciting and popular cities in Europe, and this new connection complements our existing service to London Gatwick – offering passengers even more choice and flexibility.” She emphasized that this daily connection makes travel to the British capital more convenient and affordable and reaffirms the airline's commitment to the Austrian market.
Wizz Air has previously served Luton from Vienna. For a short time, it offered flights to both this airport and the larger London Gatwick Airport. Later, Luton was discontinued in favor of expanding its service to Gatwick.
