On October 27, 2024, the new winter flight schedule will come into force at Zurich Airport and will be valid until March 29, 2025. A total of 53 airlines will fly to 169 destinations, including some new destinations.

Edelweiss is expanding its route network to Giza and Salalah, among others. EasyJet is now offering flights to Bordeaux and Manchester. Other important innovations include better connections to the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Etihad is doubling the frequency of flights to Abu Dhabi and Cathay Pacific is flying daily to Hong Kong again. Air India and Ethiopian Airlines are also increasing their frequencies.

In addition, various airlines are extending the season for their summer destinations, such as SWISS with flights to Toronto and Seoul. Destinations in northern Europe, especially Finland and Norway, remain popular, which is why Edelweiss is increasing frequencies and adding new winter destinations to this region.

In parallel with these developments, some check-in stations will be temporarily relocated due to the ongoing reconstruction of the baggage conveyor belts in Check-in 1. Economy and Premium Economy passengers are particularly affected, as they will have to check in at Check-in 29 from October 2024, 3.
