Zurich Airport almost reached the pre-crisis level of 2024 in 31,2 with 2019 million passengers, an increase of 8% over the previous year. Commercial and real estate-related income also developed positively. Revenue from retail and parking spaces rose by 5% to 276 million francs, while real estate business reached a new high of 197 million francs. The high occupancy rate of over 90% in the business and service center "The Circle" underlines the attractiveness of the location.
A further increase in passenger volume to around 2025 million is expected for 32. At the same time, Zurich Airport is investing in major projects such as the expansion of passenger areas and the construction of a new Dock A. In addition, planning approval for the redesign of runway 2024 was granted in 28, an important step towards increasing operational safety.
