The airline Eva Air intends to return to Vienna-Schwechat Airport regularly with passenger aircraft from July 6, 2022. Initially, it will offer two weekly flights to Taipei via Bangkok. At the end of July 2022, this will be increased to three rounds.

As a rule, the route should be served by Boeing 787-9. “The last few months have been a long dry spell for tourism and air travel. We are delighted with the great demand and the loyalty of our frequent flyers and are doing everything we can to restore normal flight operations as soon as possible,” explains Edward Ho, General Manager EVA Air Austria.

First of all, there will be flights from Taipei via Bangkok to Vienna on Tuesday and Thursday traffic days. The return flights are operated on Wednesdays and Fridays. From July 25, 2022, flights will also be available on Saturdays and Sundays.
