Golf carrier Emirates Airline will increase frequencies on the Dubai-Vienna route with effect from January 2, 2023. In the future, 14 circulations per week will be offered. As a rule, these should be served with Boeing 777-300ER.

Emirates currently offers up to eleven rotations per week on this route. A mixed operation of Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-300ER was originally planned. For the time being, the last-named pattern should be used as a rule.

Changes also in Zurich, Frankfurt, Munich and Düsseldorf

There are also changes on the routes from Dubai to Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich. The latter city is to be served from December 2022 with Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A380. Originally, Emirates had planned for Zurich to be served twice a day with the super jumbo from December 1, 2022.

On the Munich route, the course pair EK51/52 will be served with Boeing 1-2022ER instead of Airbus A777 from December 300, 380. As of this date, the golf carrier will use superjumbos in a three-class configuration on the EK47/EK48 course in the direction of Frankfurt am Main. So far, aircraft have been flown with seats in two classes of transport.

Likewise, from December 1, 2022, the course pair EK55/56 will no longer be served with Airbus A380 on the Düsseldorf route, but with Boeing 777-300ER. Originally it was planned that the super jumbos should be used daily in the direction of North Rhine-Westphalia.
