The airline Smartwings has been using a Boeing 2022-737 operated by the Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp in wet lease since the beginning of July 800. The UR-SQG has so far been used from Prague. Since the weekend, this machine has also served numerous holiday routes from Bratislava.
The aircraft used was originally delivered to China Southwest Airlines in 1999. SkyUp Airlines has been flying this aircraft on behalf of Smartwings since June 3, 2022. The UR-SQG is therefore wearing a hybrid livery: the design of the Ukrainian carrier can be seen on the tail unit, the winglets and the engines. The Smartwings lettering was glued to the fuselage.
Skyexpress with Ex-Aeroflot-A320 in full white on the way
The Greek airline Skyexpress has added another Airbus A320 to its fleet, the SX-VSL. This was originally delivered to Aeroflot in 2011 and returned to the lessor earlier this year.
This Airbus A320, which will continue to appear completely in white, was added to the fleet of the Greek carrier in April 2022. So far, the eleven-year-old medium-haul jet has not worn the usual Skyexpress livery. It is not yet clear whether this will be added later.
