Abu Dhabi: Terminal A officially opened

The new midfield terminal at Abu Dhabi Airport was officially put into operation. It mainly houses the state-owned Etihad Airways.

The premiere flight with 224 people flew from Terminal A to Delhi under flight number EY359. An Airbus A350-1000 was in use. Even before its opening, the structure served as a filming location for scenes in the new Mission Impossible film.
