Paderborn Airport was not affected by the strikes called by the Verdi union last Thursday, February 1, 2024. Some flights were relocated to Paderborn-Lippstadt.

This resulted in 24 additional flight movements at this airport. Eurowings, Tuifly, Ryanair, Pegasus, Corendon and Air Cairo, among others, have relocated individual connections to Paderborn at short notice. “We are very pleased about additional flights, which we will operate in a safe and customer-oriented manner in a tried and tested manner. “We were once again able to recruit sufficiently qualified personnel to operate the additional machines within a very short space of time,” explains airport managing director Roland Hüser.
