Aero 2025, which takes place from April 9 to 12 in Friedrichshafen, is seeing a significant increase in flight operations at Lake Constance Airport. In addition to numerous exhibition aircraft, around 1.000 additional flight movements were registered – many visitors are traveling with their own aircraft and taking advantage of the direct access from the airport to the exhibition grounds.
A special feature of the program will be the arrival of a German Armed Forces Eurofighter, scheduled for April 7. The fighter aircraft can be viewed on site during the trade fair. Two public air shows are also planned for April 10 and 12, including a presentation of electric aircraft as part of the so-called "e-flight airshow."
AERO is considered the leading international trade fair for general aviation, business aviation, and air sports. More than 30.000 visitors from over 80 countries are expected this year. Despite the busy traffic during the trade fair, regular scheduled and charter flights at the airport are proceeding as scheduled. However, the airport management apologizes for any potential noise disturbances caused by the increased flight activity.
