After the withdrawal of the USA and its allies from Afghanistan, the airport in the capital Kabul has been reopened, according to the emirate of Qatar.

The runway was repaired in cooperation with Afghan authorities, said the Qatari ambassador to Al-Jazeera. Ariana Afghan Airlines has resumed domestic flights to the cities of Mazar-i-Sharif and Kandahar. Another airline wants to fly domestic routes again with Kam Air. Qatar had announced that it would work with Turkey and the Taliban to reopen Kabul airport. This is reported by the aviation portal Aero.
