In June of the previous year, the state Air Montenegro presented its first livery, but the two Embraer 195s are only now wearing the livery. Previously, these were all in white. There was obviously no stress with regard to the paintwork.
On June 10, 2021, Air Montenegro operated the first scheduled flight as the successor to Montenegro Airlines. Shortly before that, the livery was presented, but the two Embraer 195s were in full white until the very end. That changed, because now both regional jets carry the design created by the Russian Maksim Arbuzov.
Although this had not previously been attached to the aircraft, it caused controversy. It was intended that this should be based on the livery of the predecessor Montenegro Airlines, but the insolvency administrator sees this as a violation of trademark law. As a result, one of several lawsuits deals with the matter.
It should be noted that both Air Montenegro and the insolvent Montenegro Airlines are owned by the state. The insolvency administrator also complains, for example, because uniforms were taken to the successor airline.
