Due to a birdstrike suffered by the Embraer 170 with registration OE-LMK on March 4, 2025 at Vienna-Schwechat Airport, Peoples is currently using a de Havilland Dash 8-400 operated by Avanti Air.

Peoples' only aircraft, the OE-LMK, suffered damage to its leading edge slat in Vienna on March 4, 2025. The cause is a bird strike. The aircraft will not be available for commercial flight operations for an as yet unknown period of time. For this reason, the de Havilland Dash 8-400 with the registration D-AASH operated by Avanti Air was used on the evening rotation Altenrhein-Vienna-Altenrhein as part of a wet lease contract.

Further details on the bird strike suffered by the OE-LMK, with this link.
