Air Albania added an Airbus A320 to its fleet. This has the registration ZA-BBC and was used commercially for the first time on September 12, 2021.
This machine previously flew for Turkish Airlines. This is no coincidence either, because the Turkish airline holds 49 percent of Air Albania. The fleet now consists of an Airbus A319, a Boeing 737-800 and the recently launched A320.
In a media statement, company boss Sinan Dilek is quoted as saying that he considers the new addition to be an important milestone in the history of Air Albania. The machine is to be used across the entire route network. The majority of this airline is held by investors from Albania.
