Air Albania will add two Airbus A320-200 to its fleet. However, these will not be obtained from the shareholder Turkish Airlines, but from the Lessor GA Telesis.

The fleet of the carrier, which was founded in 2017, currently consists of an Airbus A319 and an A320. Both machines were leased dry from Turkish Airlines. An ACJ319-100 operated by Turkish Airlines General Aviation is also on the move with TC-ANA under Air Albania flight numbers. The VIP wet lease aircraft is primarily used by the government of Albania.

With the two Airbus A320, the aviation company based in Tirana is purchasing machines on the open market for the first time. However, no concrete information was given on the identity. It was only announced that the contracts with GA Telesis should be finalized shortly.

According to CH-Aviation.com, the Lessor has a total of ten Airbus A320-200s. Five of these are in service with United Airlines in the United States of America. Five machines are currently parked without a lessee. Of these, an A320 was last at the bankrupt Onur Air in use and is parked in Istanbul.

Air Albania flies primarily from Tirana. From Kukes from one currently offers flights to Basel and Zurich at. At a later date, the non-stop connection to Istanbul will also be reactivated. In July 2022, new routes to Burgas and Antalya are to be added from the capital of Albania.
