For the second time, the Belgian regional airline Air Antwerp has to cease flight operations due to the corona pandemic. The carrier operates a Fokker 50 (OO-VLS) turboprop aircraft on the Antwerp-London City route.

Air Antwerp is backed by the Irish Cityjet with a 75 percent stake and the Dutch KLM with 25 percent. Flight operations will cease between November 30, 2020 and provisionally January 3, 2021. With reference to the unforeseeable course of the pandemic, the carrier did not want to give a guarantee that the flight would start again from January 4, 2021.
