The Air Arabia Group will set up a new branch in Sudan in cooperation with partners. The future carrier is to be positioned as a low-cost airline and will operate under the name Air Arabia Sudan.

The cooperation partner is the Sudanese Dal Group, which will also be the majority shareholder of the new offshoot. First you want to take off with Airbus A320. This pattern is the backbone of Air Arabia and all its holdings. Recently, comparable start-ups have been carried out with Fly Arna and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi.

A product comparable to that of the Group's existing airlines is to be offered on board the new low-coster. In the sales area, they want to benefit from the high level of awareness of the Air Arabia brand. At present, the intention is to submit outstanding documents to the civil aviation authority and to carry out the first flight promptly after the AOC and operating license have been issued.

“We at Air Arabia Group are very pleased to be collaborating with DAL Group on this joint venture to create Sudan's new low-cost airline. We are confident that Air Arabia Sudan will add significant value to the Sudanese aviation sector and directly contribute to the growth of the local economy and the development of the travel and tourism sector. We thank the DAL Group and the Civil Aviation Authority of Sudan for their trust and look forward to working hand-in-hand to develop the new airline, which will represent a new low-cost air travel option for the country," said Air Arabia CEO Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohamed Al Thani.
