The Kazakh airline Air Astana is increasing the daily flight connection between Astana and Frankfurt am Main. In the future, Boeing 321-767ER widebodies will be used instead of the Airbus A300neo. This means it can carry 57 more travelers per flight and offer an improved business class product.

"In the summer months, our flights from Frankfurt to Astana are traditionally particularly well booked, which is why we are very pleased that, thanks to the use of a larger aircraft on this route, we can now carry almost 400 additional passengers per week from Frankfurt," says Susith Hettihewa, Senior Regional Manager EU Central & East, Turkey at Air Astana. “Many business travelers and tourists use this connection to transfer from Astana or our second hub in Almaty to numerous destinations in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. In addition, there are numerous passengers in the summer who want to visit their friends and relatives in the region.”
