The Kazakh airline Air Astana has been flying to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan again since September 11, 2020. Tashkent is served once a week from Almaty. It goes to Bishkek on Tuesday and Sunday.

Medium-haul jets of the A320 series are used. The carrier will also fly to Frankfurt am Main again. This route is served with the Airbus A321LR. Air Astana emphasizes that there are good connections to South Korea via Almaty.
