The Kazakh airline Air Astana is satisfied with the transport performance that was achieved in the 2022 summer flight schedule from/to Germany. The company announced that the flights between Frankfurt am Main and Kazakhstan were "extremely busy".

In terms of demand, it was “able to continue seamlessly with summer 2019”. Since the end of May 2022, the Kazakh national carrier has again been serving the Main metropolis daily with Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. In addition, every Wednesday there is a flight from Frankfurt to Uralsk in the northwest of the ninth largest country in the world.

“Our flights from Frankfurt Airport were once again in great demand this year. This shows that Air Astana is clearly taking the needs of our passengers into account with its investments in the fleet – the tenth state-of-the-art Airbus A321 LR is scheduled to go into operation by the end of the year – the expansion of the route network and the unrestricted promise of quality,” says Susith Hettihewa , Senior Regional Manager EU Central & East, Turkey at Air Astana. "In the 2022/23 winter flight schedule, we have also further expanded connections to popular destinations such as Phuket, Delhi, Bangkok and the Maldives via our Astana and Almaty hubs."

A revised stopover program was launched just a few weeks ago. On the Air Astana flight via Astana and Almaty, passengers in the two cities have an overnight stay including breakfast in selected three or four-star hotels as well as airport transfers for a total of USD 19. Additional hotel nights can also be booked at attractive rates.
