Air Astana promotes Kazakhstan in new safety video

The airline Air Astana will in future also advertise Kazakhstan in its safety video, which is to be shown on machines equipped with monitors before each departure.

More than 100 people took part in the footage, which shows, among other things, the Baikonur Cosmodrome and the Shymbulak Ski Resort, as well as the cities of Astana and Almaty. The director of the approximately four and a half minute video was Aisultan Seitov, and the Kazakh composer Emil Dosov provided the appropriate musical framework.

“The new Air Astana safety video was inspired by the magnificent nature, culture and traditions of Kazakhstan,” said Yelena Obukova, Vice President of In-flight Services at Air Astana. “When our passengers watch this video, they will receive all the security information they need while enjoying beautiful footage of our homeland. We hope this will even encourage some passengers to travel to these places in Kazakhstan themselves.”
