Also in March 2021, the sometimes harsh travel restrictions had a major impact on the transport performance of the Latvian Air Baltic. The carrier carried around 660 passengers on 29.200 flights. This is 79 percent below the same month last year.

“We had to stop all planned operations in March 2020 in order to limit the spread of Covid-19. Today we are gradually resuming flights to a greater number of destinations while providing the necessary connectivity for the passengers who need to travel. We expect that responsible and safe holiday travel will be possible again in the summer months, ”explains company boss Martin Gauss.
