Last month, the Latvian airline carried a total of 246.800 passengers.

That is 67 percent more than in the same period last year. In January 2023, Air Baltic operated 3.030 flights - 22 percent more than in the same month last year.

"The first month of the year has started very optimistically and clearly shows our continued growth trajectory. Demand is stable and on the rise, which means that we will continue to grow in 2023 - in terms of fleet size, passengers carried, flights operated, destinations served and employees hired," said airline CEO Martin Gauss.
