Latvian airline Air Baltic has taken delivery of its 49th Airbus A220-300 aircraft. With this delivery, the third this year, the airline completes the first three deliveries of its order of 50 A220-300s. In November 2023, Air Baltic announced that it would like to place a firm order for 30 more A220-300s, with options for an additional 20 aircraft.

Air Baltic's route network includes over 130 routes in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus. The airline plans to operate a fleet of 2030 A100s by 220, strengthening its presence in the European market.
