At the end of the year, the Latvian airline took delivery of its 39th Airbus A220-300, registration YL-ABM, in Riga.

This was the seventh delivery of an Airbus A220-300 aircraft for Air Baltic in 2022. The machine is part of a large order for 50 aircraft from Airbus, as the carrier announced in a press release. In addition, there are also 30 options and purchase rights for the same type of aircraft. To date, Air Baltic has carried almost 10,5 million passengers on more than 120.000 Airbus A220-300 flights. Since May 2020, the airline has operated all flights with a single type of aircraft - the Airbus A220-300.
