The first Airbus A330-200F freighter has now arrived at Air Belgium. The machine was previously in the service of Qatar Airways. With the handover of the last operated units of this type, the golf carrier ends the use of this model in the freight sector.

The OO-CMA still bears the livery of the previous operator. However, all lettering and logos that would refer to Qatar Airways have been removed. Air Belgium wants to be in the future focus more on freight. The first machine is stationed in Liège. This year the airline plans to take over a total of six A330 freighters.

In the passenger sector, the carrier offers flights from Charleroi with Airbus A340 to Guadeloupe and Martinique and also has flights to Mauritius in its program. Currently the passenger connections are idle due to the corona pandemic.
