Air Canada and Flydubai will work together in the future

Advertising

Star Alliance member Air Canada and Emirates affiliate Flydubai are planning to announce a codeshare partnership, subject to regulatory approvals. The AC code is to be placed on nine routes operated by Flydubai.

There is also an interline contract between the two carriers, so that luggage can be reloaded in Dubai, for example. This also means that tickets can also be merged on routes where codesharing exists. In the future, they want to further improve the transfer options in Dubai and plan that points can also be collected in the respective frequent flyer program.
