Air Dolomiti receives the EMAS Awards 2021

Air Dolomiti, the Italian airline of the Lufthansa Group, has the EMAS Award 2021 won by ISPRA (Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research), as well as by the EMAS Ecolabel and Ecoaudit Committee.

Prizes were awarded in three categories: firstly for the most communicative environmental statement, secondly for initiatives to use the EMAS logo and thirdly for initiatives to reduce the ecological footprint. Air Dolomiti was awarded for both the second and the third Category excellent.

“After successfully completing the ISO 2020 audit at the end of 14001 and receiving the European EMAS certification last spring, we are continuing to set ourselves ambitious goals. In addition to safety and passenger service, we give our environmental commitment special priority, in the deep conviction that sustainable growth must have a high priority. These awards are particularly important to us because they underline our commitment, ”adds Dario Bruni, Vice President Business Development, Product, ICT & Managing Director Air Dolomiti Deutschland GmbH.
