Steffen Harbarth, currently one of the two managing directors at Lufthansa CityLine, will become CEO of Air Dolomiti on January 1, 2022.

He succeeds Jörg Eberhart, who will take over the position of “Head of Strategy & Organizational Development” in the Lufthansa Group on October 1st. Until Steffen Harbarth takes office with the Italian airline Air Dolomiti, Captain Alberto Casamatti, Director General Operations & Accountable Manager, will hold the position of CEO.

I am very pleased that we were able to win Steffen Harbarth as CEO of Air Dolomiti. Italy is a strategically important market for the Lufthansa Group and the further development of Air Dolomiti is of central importance. Steffen Harbarth brings many years of experience to this task, both in commercial airline management and through his work as Managing Director Operations and Accountable Manager at Lufthansa CityLine ”, says Ola Hansson, Chief Operating Officer Lufthansa Airlines and responsible for investments in Air Dolomiti.
