With immediate effect, Air France will start checking the health documents required by the authorities in its destination country earlier. The airline is launching “Ready to Fly”, an application for checking the documents required for entry.
A few days before departure, customers receive an email asking them to upload their health documents to the online platform. After the check by the airline, a confirmation email is sent out to the passengers. The boarding passes issued are then marked with “Ready 2to Fly” so that they can be processed more quickly by the Air France teams at the airport on the day of departure. If a document is missing or incomplete, the customer receives a notification in which he is asked to hand over the missing documents or to present them at the airport on the day of travel.
Successfully tested since June, “Ready to Fly” will be available from July 17th on flights from Paris to Corsica and French overseas destinations before it will gradually be rolled out to more and more destinations over the course of the summer.
