The first of a total of 60 ordered Airbus A220-300s has arrived at Air France in Paris-Charles de Gaulle. With the help of this model, the French aviation group wants to replace aging models such as the Airbus A318.

The first Air France A220-300 will be used on medium-haul flights from the winter season 2021. Air France currently operates a fleet of 136 Airbus aircraft. The airline is also renewing its long-haul fleet and has already received 11 of 38 A350s on order. The cabin of the Air France A220-300 is configured as a one-class cabin and can comfortably accommodate 148 passengers.
