Air France is again flying from Paris CDG to Malta, the first flight landing on Sunday, July 5th, 2021. The French national airline offers a flight 3 times a week every Monday, Friday and Sunday. Interestingly, France was one of the top five destinations for the airport with a market share of 6,2 percent.

The flight was operated by Airbus A320-214 F-GKXH. The aircraft was delivered in February 2003. In 2017, this cell was painted in the colors of the unfortunate AF experiment called Joon. The latter was supposed to be an airline for the millennials but no one really understood its marketing strategy and the airline was history in less than 24 months as the airline rejoined Air France from June 2019
