Air France-KLM is back in the black after the turbulent years of the corona pandemic.

Despite rising fuel prices and other increased expenses, the Franco-Dutch company was able to report a net profit of 728 million euros in the last financial year. After billions in losses in recent years, this is a big step forward.

Air France-KLM has ramped up its capacity again and was able to carry more than 83 million passengers last year, an increase of 87 percent. Revenue rose by 84,4 percent to almost EUR 26,4 billion and the operating result reached EUR 1,2 million. The fourth quarter of 2022 was particularly successful for Air France-KLM as the company achieved the highest revenue in its history. For the current 2023 fiscal year, the carrier is optimistic and plans to return to full capacity.
