The French-Dutch aviation group Air France-KLM recorded a net loss of 3,3 billion euros last year. Although this is lower than in the first Corona year, you are still deep in the red. The state aid has not yet been repaid.

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the group of companies was able to make a profit for the first time in a long time. Ebitda is reported at 745 million euros. In the same period of 2020, which was marked by lockdowns, Air France-KLM had a loss of 1,7 billion euros.

Last year there were 44,7 million passengers on board. Compared to 2020, this was an increase of 31 percent. As a result, sales have also increased. This is reported at 14,3 million euros.

The management does not yet want to make any forecast for the current financial year. Supply in the first quarter of 2022 is expected to be between 73 and 78 percent of 2019. A forecast for the rest of 2022 is not yet available. This is justified, among other things, by the fact that it is not yet foreseeable when China and Japan, among others, will open up to European passengers.
